Indexing data stays local. No machine is controlled.

Worm ratio, target divisions, available hole circles, and change-gear inventory are used only for simple and differential indexing math on the current page. IndexPlate connects to no dividing head, mill, CNC, encoder, or inventory system and sends no motion commands.

Theoretical holes and ratios, not setup approval

The tool solves exact simple indexing across at most 100 hole circles. If none exists, it searches trial divisions within ±12 of the target that can be indexed simply, then returns at most 16 numerical approximations from four-gear trains using 2–30 owned gears. Direction labels are mathematical sign candidates. It does not verify differential capability, plate-drive direction, gear shaft positions/module/pressure angle, idlers, backlash, collision, locking, workholding, or cutting load.

Index sheets may be process data

Refreshing or closing discards inputs. CSV contains target/trial divisions, worm ratio, circle, whole turns, hole move, required ratio, gear train, and numerical error; reports and optional local checkpoints read the visible summary. Actual setup must follow the head manual and be hand-checked for full-circle closure from one approach direction with the machine isolated.

This page uses Google AdSense Auto Ads. Google may use cookies or similar technologies under its policies. .miluland.com domain cookies sync language, theme, high contrast, a six-item recent-tools list, and up to 16 favorite tool IDs across MiluLand sites. These values never contain inputs, files, or results; the current site also keeps a local compatibility copy.

Local report studio

The report studio reads only the workbench’s currently visible result summary for local preview, Markdown copy, JSON download, printing, and a SHA-256 fingerprint. It never reads input controls or original files and is not persisted unless you choose to download it.

Optional local checkpoints

Only when you explicitly choose Save does the tool write the visible result summary, time, and optional short label to this site’s browser storage, up to five entries. Imported files and input-control contents are never stored; you can export, restore same-tool checkpoints, or clear them at any time. Imports are limited to 128KB and validate the tool, timestamp, summary, and label of up to 80 characters.
